It is a professional actors training programme over 8 individual weeks culminating in a 3 day location film shoot with a highly experienced film crew on RED 4K. This is the only course of its kind in the UK and the short film produced in week 9 will be written and Directed by Benjamin Johns.




Actors Film Lab has been created by Writer/ Director / Producer Benjamin Johns from 13 years of professional experience working in drama as a Producer, Director and now also as a writer. He previously worked as an actor and had a 3 year tenure as a Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University. He has formulated what works best for him in his practice as a Dramatist and written and devised the ACTORS FILM LAB together with Konstantin Pavlidis, Founder and Director of 'Unstructured Light' theatre group. Konstantin has worked as a dancer, choreographer and movement teacher with leading dance and theatre companies throughout the world over the past 25 years.
